Product Description
The IX-8IPNET is an 8 port IP telephone card for the Iwatsu ADIX APS phone system. The IX 8IPNET card will operate the IPKTD phones.
  • An IX-8IPNET Tie-line emulation over IP network card, coupled to an IX-8EIPSUB daughterboard, which supports up to eight IP key telephones.
  • the IX-8IPNET leverages the ability to pass both data and voice traffic over the same circuit. The converging of these seemingly two different medium types (TDM and IP telephony) is possible because the IX-8IPNET/IX8EIPNET card packetizes the voice traffic using the concise SIP protocol.
  • The IX-8IPNET / IX-8EIPSUB card connects to the Ethernet-based local area network (LAN) and requires one port per card on the LAN switch
