HOUSTON BASED TELECOM COMPANIES MERGE

Houston based Tele Technology and Interconnect Communications Specialists, LLC. merged services for their newly formed company, Digital Phone Works, Inc.

After negotiations this past summer, Tele Technology, an Internet telephone system sales company, came to an agreement to merge with ICS, a Houston based phone systems service company.

Digital Phone Works, Inc. will continue to be based in Houston and will offer a wide variety of telecom products as their former Tele Technology company did in the past and the Tele Technology web presence will still be maintained.

Jay Harper, president of Digital Phone Works, Inc., feels this merger will bring better selections and service to the business communications industry.

"What this means to our customers is a greater level of service at a better price," Harper said. "We can also offer a wider variety of systems we can service and maintain. Houston needs that kind of company."

The merger means superior products with enhanced service.

Tele Technology, a company with 7 years experience, was a master at logistics, warehousing, and merchandising telephone systems and parts.

ICS, who had a reputable company based on servicing phone systems for the past 17 years, will bring their expertise to the merger.

Digital Phone Works, Inc. will continue to service major lines such as Nortel, Toshiba, and Avaya.

Harper explained the benefits. "The wonderful thing about our new depth is we are able to sell and service many smaller lines such as Iwatsu Adix, Samsung, Panasonic DBS, Panasonic KXTD and many others," he said.

Digital Phone Works, Inc. already provides over 10 service crews for their nearly 10,000 customer base on a daily basis.
