Viking ADA Compliant Emergency / Elevator Phones 1600 SeriesViking 1600A Series ADA Compliant Emergency / Elevator Phones are designed to provide the best in technology for emergency situations. These emergency phones are dependable and quick handsfree communication over a public switched network. All Viking 1600A Series Phones are used for elevator / emergency telephones which meet ADA requirements. These emergency phones have a built-in digital voice announcer that identifies the location of an emergency or a DTMF Touch Tone code may be delivered instead. The 1600A series phones can be used with any standard analog phone line or analog phone system station port. The 1600A series viking phones can be programmed from any Touch Tone phone as well as dial up to five programmable emergency numbers and two central station numbers. The Viking 1600A Series phones are designed for harsh weather conditions and are available with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP). These phones also have non-volatile E2 memory for storing phone numbers and location numbers. These phones are compatible with common Central Station Monitoring equipment and are powered by line power (no batteries or external power required). Selected Viking products come with an optional Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP), which protects against harsh weather conditions to prevent corrosion, pollution, water damage or temperature damage. Enhanced Weather Protection consists of rubber gaskets and boots, hand soldered silicon sealed connections, gel filled tip and ring connectors. Also, features easy on-site programming with urethane potted circuit boards with weather sealed, field-adjustable trim pots and DIP switches.
